Position Summary

TCS is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business BI Developer - Machine Learning to join our growing Remote Data & Analytics team. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence (BI) solutions that leverage machine learning to provide actionable insights and drive data-driven decision-making for our clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, business analysts, and stakeholders, to understand business requirements and translate them into effective BI and machine learning solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable BI solutions using modern BI tools and technologies (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Develop and implement machine learning models within BI dashboards and reports to provide predictive analytics and insights.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into data warehouses and data marts.
• Write complex SQL queries to analyze data and generate reports.
• Collaborate with data scientists to integrate machine learning models into BI solutions.
• Develop and maintain data documentation and metadata.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide timely and accurate data and insights.
• Participate in virtual team meetings and contribute to a collaborative remote work environment.
• Adhere to established development standards and best practices.
• Participate in virtual team building activities and training sessions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence (BI) development.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and principles.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
• Experience with at least one major BI tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Experience with machine learning concepts and techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
• Must reside in the USA.

Technical Requirements

As a fully remote employee, you will need to meet the following technical requirements:

• Dedicated home office space free from distractions.
• High-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload).
• Reliable computer with sufficient processing power and memory for development tasks.
• Headset with microphone for virtual meetings.
• Ability to work during core business hours (Eastern Time Zone preferred).

Desired Skills

• Experience with Python or R for data analysis and machine learning.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with data visualization best practices.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Compensation & Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000 - $130,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
