Position Summary

Canonical is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Digital Strategist - PPC to join our growing marketing team. This is a fully REMOTE position, and the successful candidate can work from anywhere in the USA. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing our global Pay-Per-Click (PPC) strategy to drive qualified leads and contribute to the growth of our business. As a key member of our digital marketing team, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including content, sales, and product marketing, to ensure alignment and maximize the impact of our PPC efforts. Your primary focus will be on planning and executing successful PPC campaigns while monitoring and optimizing performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive PPC strategies aligned with Canonical's overall marketing goals.
  • Manage and optimize PPC campaigns across multiple platforms, including Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other relevant channels.
  • Conduct thorough keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Create compelling ad copy and landing pages that drive conversions.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights.
  • Manage PPC budgets effectively and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with content and design teams to create engaging and effective ad creatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest PPC trends and best practices.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support.
  • Present strategy and performance updates to key stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing and optimizing PPC campaigns, preferably in a B2B technology environment.
  • Proven track record of driving measurable results through PPC.
  • Strong understanding of Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other PPC platforms.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a fully remote environment.
  • Must be located in the USA.

Technical Requirements

To ensure a seamless remote work experience, you will need to meet the following technical requirements:

Compensation & Benefits
