Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior SEO Specialist - Social Media to join our growing marketing team, working fully remotely from anywhere in the USA. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing SEO strategies focused on boosting our social media presence and driving organic traffic to Figma's website. You will work closely with our social media, content, and growth teams to optimize our social channels for search, increase brand visibility, and acquire new users. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies for Figma’s social media channels, including but not limited to Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram.
• Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for social media SEO optimization.
• Optimize social media profiles, content, and metadata to improve search rankings and organic visibility.
• Collaborate with the social media team to create engaging, SEO-friendly content that attracts and retains target audiences.
• Track, analyze, and report on key SEO metrics for social media performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest SEO trends and best practices, particularly as they relate to social media.
• Work with the growth team to integrate social media SEO efforts with broader marketing campaigns.
• Manage and optimize YouTube channel SEO, including keyword research, video optimization, and playlist management.
• Provide SEO training and guidance to the social media team.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in SEO, with a focus on social media optimization.
• Proven track record of successfully improving social media SEO performance and driving organic traffic.
• Deep understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and ranking factors.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Semrush, and Ahrefs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
• Proficiency in social media management platforms.
• Experience working with YouTube SEO best practices.

Technical Requirements

As a fully remote employee, you will be required to maintain a suitable home office environment and meet the following technical requirements:

• Reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps download/10 Mbps upload).
• Dedicated workspace free from distractions.

Compensation & Benefits

The annual salary range for this remote position is $120,000 - $160,000, commensurate with experience and location within the USA. Figma offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
