Position Summary

Fiverr is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Staff Blockchain Developer to join our Security Systems team. This is a fully REMOTE position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the USA. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing blockchain-based security solutions for Fiverr's platform. You will collaborate with other engineers, security experts, and product managers to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop blockchain-based security solutions for Fiverr's platform.
• Implement smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps) to enhance security measures.
• Collaborate with security engineers to identify and mitigate potential security vulnerabilities.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and security best practices.
• Contribute to the development of security policies and procedures.
• Participate in virtual team meetings and contribute to technical discussions.
• Maintain thorough documentation of designs, code, and deployment procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in blockchain security.
• Participate in occasional virtual team-building activities and company-wide events.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• 3+ years of experience in blockchain development, specifically in security applications.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technologies, including consensus mechanisms, smart contracts, and cryptography.
• Proficiency in at least one blockchain development language (e.g., Solidity, Rust).
• Experience with decentralized application (dApp) development.
• Solid understanding of security principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Technical Requirements

As a REMOTE employee, you are expected to have:

• A dedicated home office space conducive to productive work.
• A reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload).
• A modern computer with sufficient processing power and memory.
• A headset with a microphone for virtual meetings.

Compensation & Benefits

The annual salary range for this REMOTE Staff Blockchain Developer position is $160,000 - $210,000, commensurate with experience and location within the USA.
