Position Summary

ActiveCampaign is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Technical Writer specializing in Mobile Platforms to join our growing documentation team. As a fully remote team member, you will play a crucial role in creating and maintaining clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation for our mobile SDKs, APIs, and related developer resources. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and support teams to ensure our documentation effectively empowers developers to integrate and utilize ActiveCampaign's mobile platform capabilities seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, write, and edit technical documentation for ActiveCampaign's mobile SDKs (iOS and Android), APIs, and related developer tools.
• Create and maintain tutorials, code samples, and API reference documentation to support developers in integrating ActiveCampaign's mobile platform.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and support teams to gather information and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Develop and maintain a consistent documentation style guide for mobile platforms.
• Identify and address gaps in existing documentation based on developer feedback and usage patterns.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of documentation projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content.
• Participate in documentation reviews and provide constructive feedback to other technical writers.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile development technologies and trends.
• Work independently and proactively within a remote team environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technical Communication, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a technical writer, with a focus on mobile platforms (iOS and Android).
• Strong understanding of mobile SDKs, APIs, and mobile development concepts.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
• Experience with documentation tools and platforms (e.g., Git, Markdown, OpenAPI/Swagger).
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Must be a resident of the United States and authorized to work in the US.

Technical Requirements

As a remote employee, you will need to maintain a professional home office environment. The following technical requirements are essential:

• Reliable High-Speed Internet: Minimum 50 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed.
• Dedicated Workspace: A quiet and private workspace free from distractions.
• Computer Equipment: ActiveCampaign will provide a company-issued laptop and necessary software.
• Headset: A high-quality headset with a microphone for clear communication.
• Time Zone: Must be able to overlap working hours with the core team in the US Central Time (CST) zone for at least 4 hours per day.

Compensation & Benefits
