Position Summary

Cochlear Limited is seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney to join our legal team in a remote capacity. This role involves managing a variety of litigation matters, providing legal counsel, and representing Cochlear Limited in court proceedings. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex legal challenges. Key Responsibilities

  • Represent Cochlear Limited in court proceedings, hearings, and depositions.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
  • Prepare and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to assess legal risks and provide strategic advice.
  • Manage case preparation, including discovery, witness interviews, and evidence gathering.
  • Provide client counseling and communicate legal updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in litigation, with 0 to 15 years of relevant practice.
  • Strong skills in legal research, courtroom representation, and case preparation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including legal writing.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Admission to the state bar in good standing.

Required Education

A Bachelor's Degree in Law or a related field is required. A Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Cochlear Limited offers a competitive salary range of $62,000 to $98,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, professional development opportunities, and flexible work arrangements.
