Key Responsibilities for Patient Access Representative:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Verify patient demographic information and insurance coverage
- Schedule patient appointments and procedures
- Obtain necessary authorizations for services

- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy policies
- Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate a smooth patient experience

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in healthcare administration or customer service
- Proficiency in using electronic health records and scheduling systems

- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification processes
Desired Skills:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
- Certification as a Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA)
- Experience with Epic or other electronic medical record systems
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or other languages
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans
