- Coordinate with external organizations and agencies to obtain credentialing verifications and updates.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date credentialing records and databases.

- Monitor and track expiring credentials and initiate the renewal process in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare credentialing, privileging, or provider enrollment.
- Strong knowledge of credentialing standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using credentialing software and databases.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Desired Skills:
- Certification in Medical Staff Services Management (CMSS) or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS).
- Experience with EPIC or similar electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Familiarity with National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) or The Joint Commission (TJC) accreditation standards.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to changing regulations and industry trends.

Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Credentialing Specialist position at Mayo Clinic in Honolulu, Hawaii, is between $50,000 and $70,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
