Position Summary:
GitHub is seeking a Remote Diversity & Inclusion Manager to drive our diversity initiatives and foster an inclusive culture across our remote workforce. This role is pivotal in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within our organization, ensuring that all employees feel valued and supported in their professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement diversity and inclusion strategies to support GitHub's remote workforce
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive diversity initiatives and programs
- Analyze diversity metrics and provide insights to leadership for continuous improvement
- Lead training sessions and workshops to promote diversity awareness and cultural sensitivity
- Act as a resource for employees on diversity-related matters and provide support as needed

Required Qualifications:

- Proven experience in diversity and inclusion roles, preferably in a remote work setting
- Strong understanding of diversity best practices and trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for remote team collaboration
- Ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in a remote environment

Technical Requirements:
- Dedicated home office space conducive to remote work
- Reliable high-speed internet connection for virtual meetings and collaboration
- Comfortable working across different time zones within the USA

Desired Skills:
- Certification in Diversity & Inclusion or related field
- Experience with remote team collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoom, or Asana
- Ability to facilitate virtual team building activities and events

Compensation & Benefits:
GitHub offers a competitive annual salary range of $80,000 - $100,000 for the Remote Diversity & Inclusion Manager position. In addition, we provide a home office stipend or equipment to support your remote work setup.
