Key Responsibilities for Stock Controller:
- Manage and maintain accurate stock records in the warehouse
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers for replenishment
- Conduct regular stock audits and investigate any discrepancies
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure efficient stock movement
- Utilise stock management systems to track inventory levels and report on stock movements

Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Stock Controller or similar role in a logistics or retail environment
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
- Proficiency in using stock management software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting
- Experience in implementing process improvements to enhance stock control efficiency
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers
- Forklift truck license or willingness to undergo training

Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary for the Stock Controller position at Tesco Logistics in Newcastle, North East England, ranges from £22,000 to £26,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
