Key Responsibilities for Heating Engineer:
- Install, maintain, and repair heating systems in residential properties
- Conduct inspections to identify faults and troubleshoot heating system issues
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure efficient project completion
- Provide expert advice to clients on heating system maintenance and energy efficiency
- Keep accurate records of work undertaken and materials used
Required Qualifications:
- Recognised qualifications in heating engineering or a related field (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ)
- Gas Safe registration for working with gas heating systems
- Solid understanding of building regulations and health & safety standards
- Valid driving licence to travel to different project sites
Desired Skills:
- Experience in working with renewable energy heating systems (e.g., heat pumps, solar thermal)
- Knowledge of smart heating technologies and controls
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with colleagues and clients
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
