Role and Impact of a Member

Members of the Consortium will serve as vital leaders, driving advocacy and strategic direction. Your multifaceted efforts will be essential in fulfilling the mandate of the Consortium:

  • Strategic Vision: Work closely with the President and Vice President to develop a unified strategic roadmap and multi-year vision for the organization.
  • Policy Advocacy: Develop specific policy recommendations and concepts, interfacing with government agencies and lawmakers to influence legal creation and amendment.
  • Legal Assistance: Contribute to providing legal assistance and support through pro bono services via the advocate network.
  • Community Education: Lead targeted outreach efforts to educate the public about their rights, spotlighting best practices and nurturing talent.
  • Monitoring: Diligently monitor the legal landscape for any violations of rights and promptly report instances of abuse or injustice.

Eligibility and Requirements

This position is open only to women with demonstrated expertise and commitment in the legal field:

  • Professional Status: Legal professionals with active involvement in the field of law.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of active legal practice or relevant legal work is required.
  • Specialized Interest: Demonstrated interest or expertise in constitutional law, human rights, or other relevant fields of law.
  • Skills: Proficiency in legal writing and drafting, excellent communication skills, and willingness to take on leadership roles.
  • Preferred Skills: Prior experience interning with legal firms, experience handling social media/public relations, or developing visual content.
