Position Summary

Amgen is seeking a UX Researcher to join our dynamic team in a remote capacity. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting user research to inform the design and development of digital products that enhance the user experience for patients, healthcare providers, and internal stakeholders. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights, analyze data, and translate findings into actionable recommendations that drive product improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute qualitative and quantitative user research studies, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and heuristic evaluations.
  • Analyze and interpret research data to identify user needs, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and developers to integrate research findings into product design and development processes.
  • Create detailed reports and presentations to communicate research insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles and ensure research methodologies align with industry best practices.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and advancements in UX research methodologies and tools.

Required Qualifications

  • 0 to 8 years of experience in UX research or a related field.
  • Proficiency in user research methods, including usability testing, interviews, and surveys.
  • Strong skills in data analysis and interpretation to derive actionable insights.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey research findings effectively.

Required Education

Others: A degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Cognitive Science, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent practical experience will also be considered.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with remote usability testing tools (e.g., UserTesting, Lookback).
  • Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Hotjar.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
  • Experience working in the healthcare or biotechnology industry is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Amgen offers a competitive compensation package, with a salary range of $55,000 to $88,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
