Position Summary

HCL Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Analytics Financial Analyst with a Data Engineering focus to join our growing team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the USA. As an integral member of our finance and data engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining data pipelines, building financial models, and providing insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with stakeholders across various departments to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable solutions. This role requires a strong blend of financial acumen, data engineering skills, and a passion for leveraging data to drive business results.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) financial data from various sources.
• Build and maintain financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability.
• Perform in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and sensitivity analysis.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design and develop dashboards and reports to visualize key financial metrics and insights.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance data quality and efficiency.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Participate in virtual team meetings and collaborate effectively with remote colleagues.
• Document data processes and workflows.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis and data engineering.
• Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation languages (e.g., Python, R).
• Experience with data warehousing and ETL tools (e.g., AWS Glue, Apache Spark).
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.

Compensation & Benefits
