Key Responsibilities for Assistant Controller:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes
- Oversee and ensure accuracy of accounting transactions
- Collaborate with internal teams to support financial planning and analysis
- Assist in the implementation of accounting policies and procedures
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to senior management

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA certification preferred
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Desired Skills:
- Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience in a public accounting firm
- Knowledge of IFRS and international accounting standards
- Advanced Excel skills for financial analysis
- Experience with BlackLine or other financial automation software

Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Assistant Controller position at BlackLine in Salt Lake City, Utah is $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
