Key Responsibilities For Bus Driver:

- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the bus, conducting routine inspections and reporting any issues
- Adhere to schedules to ensure timely arrivals and departures at designated stops
- Communicate effectively with passengers, colleagues, and control centre staff
- Handle any incidents or emergencies calmly and professionally, following established procedures
Required Qualifications:
- Valid PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) licence with no more than 3 penalty points
- CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification
- Good understanding of English language, both spoken and written
- Proven experience as a bus driver, preferably in a commercial or public transport setting
- Excellent driving record and commitment to safety

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with a diverse range of passengers
- Knowledge of local routes and geographical areas
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
Compensation & Benefits:
- The annual salary range for this position is £22,000 - £28,000, depending on experience and qualifications
