Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Compliance Alternative Legal Services Provider (ALSP) specializing in Employment Law to join our innovative and growing team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the USA. In this role, you will provide critical support to our Employment Law practice, assisting with a wide range of compliance-related projects and tasks. You will work closely with our attorneys and other legal professionals to ensure our clients remain compliant with all applicable laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research on federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of compliance programs and policies.
  • Review and analyze employee handbooks, policies, and other employment-related documents.
  • Support internal investigations related to employment law matters.
  • Prepare and file required compliance reports.
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments and advise attorneys on potential impact.
  • Assist with due diligence reviews related to mergers and acquisitions.
  • Develop and deliver training materials on employment law compliance.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and other legal professionals on a variety of projects.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of compliance activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Juris Doctor (JD) or paralegal certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in employment law compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research databases such as Westlaw and LexisNexis.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate in a virtual environment.

Technical Requirements

To ensure a productive and seamless remote work experience, the following technical requirements must be met:

  • Dedicated home office space free from distractions.
  • High-speed internet connection with a minimum upload/download speed of 25 Mbps.
  • Reliable computer with up-to-date operating system and antivirus software.
  • Headset with microphone for clear communication during virtual meetings.
  • Must be available to work during core business hours, generally Eastern Time, for optimal collaboration with the team.

Compensation & Benefits
