As a Consolidations Accountant at Grant Thornton in Los Angeles, California, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance for the organization's consolidated financial statements.
Key Responsibilities For Consolidations Accountant:
- Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
- Perform intercompany eliminations and reconciliations
- Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data for consolidation
- Support external audit requirements related to consolidations
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in consolidation processes
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification preferred
- 3+ years of experience in financial reporting and consolidations
- Proficiency in ERP systems and financial consolidation software

Compensation & Benefits:
