Position Summary
Basecamp is seeking a dynamic and experienced Content Social Media Manager to develop and execute our social media strategy. This fully remote role will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing our social media presence, and driving brand awareness. You will collaborate with marketing, product, and support teams to ensure a consistent and compelling brand voice across all social media channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Basecamp's marketing goals.
- Create engaging and informative content, including text, images, and videos, tailored to various social media platforms.
- Manage Basecamp's social media accounts, ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
- Monitor social media trends and insights to optimize content and engagement.
- Engage with our audience, respond to comments and messages, and foster a vibrant online community.
- Collaborate with internal teams to promote new features, product updates, and company news.
- Track and analyze social media performance, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date on social media best practices and emerging trends.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful social media strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Experience with social media analytics tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Must be located in the USA.
Technical Requirements
As a fully remote position, the following technical requirements are essential:
- Dedicated home office space free from distractions.
- High-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps download, 5 Mbps upload).
- Reliable computer and peripherals (webcam, microphone, etc.).
- Ability to work during core business hours (approximately 9 am - 5 pm Central Time), with some flexibility.

Compensation & Benefits
The annual salary range for this remote Content Social Media Manager position is $90,000 - $120,000, commensurate with experience.
