Position Summary
Okta is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Visualization Specialist with a strong background in statistical analysis to join our growing Data & Analytics team. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for transforming complex datasets into compelling and actionable visualizations that drive business insights. You will work closely with stakeholders across various departments to understand their data needs, develop insightful dashboards, and communicate findings effectively. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a data-driven culture within a dynamic and innovative organization. You will be working from your home office anywhere in the USA.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Perform statistical analysis on large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data visualizations.
- Present data findings and insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all visualizations and reports.
- Maintain documentation of data visualization processes and standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data visualization and statistical analysis.
- Participate in virtual team meetings and contribute to a collaborative remote work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data visualization and statistical analysis.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts and techniques.
- Experience with data modeling and ETL processes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Must reside in the USA.
Technical Requirements
To ensure a productive remote work experience, the following technical requirements must be met:
- Dedicated home office space free from distractions.

Compensation & Benefits
