Position Summary
Netflix is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Healthcare Data Analyst - Statistical Analysis to join our growing Data & Analytics team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within the United States. As a key member of our team, you will leverage your expertise in statistical analysis and healthcare data to support critical decision-making across various aspects of our business, including content acquisition, personalization, and member engagement.
You will be responsible for designing and executing statistical analyses, developing data-driven insights, and communicating your findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for using data to drive impactful outcomes. This role requires a proactive individual who can thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and identify opportunities for data-driven insights.
- Design and implement statistical analyses, including hypothesis testing, regression modeling, and causal inference, using healthcare-related datasets.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor trends related to healthcare benefits and employee wellbeing.
- Communicate complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences through clear and concise visualizations and presentations.
- Work with engineering teams to ensure data quality and availability.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data analysis and healthcare analytics.
- Contribute to the development of best practices for data analysis and reporting within the organization.
- Proactively identify and investigate data anomalies and inconsistencies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on statistical modeling and healthcare data.
- Strong proficiency in statistical programming languages such as R or Python.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Solid understanding of statistical concepts, including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and experimental design.
- Experience working with large datasets and relational databases (e.g., SQL).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Must reside within the United States.
Technical Requirements

Compensation & Benefits
