Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Enterprise Account Executive - Strategic Partnerships to join our rapidly growing team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the USA. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing Plaid's strategic partnership strategy with key enterprise accounts. You will be a critical player in driving revenue growth, expanding our market presence, and building long-lasting relationships with our most important partners. This role requires a strong understanding of the financial technology landscape, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proven track record of success in enterprise sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and close strategic partnership opportunities with enterprise-level clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at partner organizations.
  • Understand partners' business objectives and develop customized solutions that leverage Plaid's capabilities.
  • Negotiate and execute partnership agreements that are mutually beneficial.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product, engineering, marketing, and legal, to ensure successful partnership implementations.
  • Manage a portfolio of strategic partnerships, tracking performance and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management.
  • Participate in virtual team meetings and contribute to a positive and collaborative remote work environment.
  • Represent Plaid at industry events and conferences (occasional travel may be required).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales or strategic partnerships, preferably in the financial technology industry.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building strong client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of the financial services ecosystem and the challenges and opportunities facing enterprise organizations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools.
  • Must be able to work core hours in the Pacific Time Zone.

Technical Requirements

To ensure a productive and seamless remote work experience, the following technical requirements must be met:

  • A dedicated home office space free from distractions.
  • High-speed internet connection with a minimum upload/download speed of 25 Mbps.
  • Reliable computer and headset for video conferencing and phone calls.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues.
  • Compliance with Plaid's data security policies.

Plaid provides a home office stipend to help employees set up their remote workspace.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Compensation & Benefits

The annual salary range for this remote position is $180,000 - $250,000, depending on experience and location. In addition to a competitive salary, Plaid offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
