Key Responsibilities for Financial Controller:
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity
- Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management to support decision-making and drive profitability
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar role, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- In-depth knowledge of financial accounting principles, regulations, and best practices
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels
Desired Skills:
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably Workday Financials
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling

Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Financial Controller position at Workday in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is $120,000 to $150,000, commensurate with experience.
