Key Responsibilities For Fixed Assets Accountant:
- Manage the fixed assets accounting process, including recording acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation
- Reconcile fixed assets subsidiary ledger to the general ledger
- Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and reconcile to the fixed assets register
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely fixed assets reporting
- Assist in preparing audit schedules and supporting documentation for internal and external audits
- Monitor compliance with accounting policies and procedures related to fixed assets
- Analyze variances and investigate discrepancies in fixed assets transactions

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in fixed assets accounting or related role
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and fixed assets accounting principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and reconciliation
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Desired Skills:
- CPA certification or actively pursuing certification
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
- Knowledge of internal control procedures and SOX compliance
- Ability to streamline processes and improve efficiency in fixed assets management
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders
