Key Responsibilities for Headteacher:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children and staff.
- Develop and implement educational programs that promote children's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Lead and manage a team of educators and support staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high standards of care and education.
- Establish positive relationships with parents and carers, fostering open communication and collaboration to support children's learning and development.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, health and safety standards, and Nursery Chains' policies and procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate the nursery's performance, implementing improvements and initiatives to enhance the quality of provision.

Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) is essential.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within an early years setting, with a strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and experience in its implementation.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

Desired Skills:
- Postgraduate qualification in Early Years Education or a related field.
- Experience in leading and managing a team in a multi-site nursery setting.
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and experience in implementing safeguarding policies.
- Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders, including parents, local authorities, and external agencies.

Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Headteacher position at Nursery Chains in Manchester is £35,000 to £45,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
