Position Summary

Royal Mail is seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our team remotely. This role focuses on designing hospitality spaces, including hotels and restaurants, while ensuring alignment with Royal Mail’s branding and customer experience goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FF&E selection, thematic integration, and creating functional yet aesthetically pleasing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop innovative interior design concepts for hospitality projects, including hotels and restaurants.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate Royal Mail’s branding and thematic elements into design solutions.
• Select and specify furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) that align with project requirements and budget constraints.
• Create detailed design presentations, including mood boards, 3D renderings, and material samples.
• Ensure designs prioritize customer experience, functionality, and sustainability.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to bring fresh ideas to the team.

Required Qualifications

• 3 to 11 years of professional experience in hospitality interior design, specifically in hotel and restaurant projects.
• Proven expertise in branding and theme integration within interior spaces.
• Strong proficiency in FF&E selection and specification.
• Exceptional ability to design with a focus on customer experience.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for remote teamwork.

Required Education

A Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is required.

Desired Skills

• Experience working with large-scale hospitality brands or corporate clients.
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices and certifications (e.g., LEED).
• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Compensation & Benefits

Royal Mail offers a competitive salary range of $63,000 to $94,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, professional development opportunities, and flexible work arrangements.
