Key Responsibilities For IT Support Analyst:
- Provide technical support to Sky UK employees for IT-related issues, including hardware, software, and network problems
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner to minimise downtime
- Install, configure, and maintain IT systems and equipment
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement and upgrade systems as required
- Document technical procedures and solutions for future reference
- Assist in IT projects and initiatives to enhance the overall IT infrastructure
- Keep abreast of technological advancements and best practices in IT support
Required Qualifications:
- A degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience in IT support roles, preferably in a corporate environment
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and IT hardware
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) would be an advantage
Desired Skills:
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Knowledge of networking protocols and security principles
- Familiarity with ITIL best practices
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the IT Support Analyst position at Sky UK in Blackpool, North West England, is between £25,000 to £30,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
