Position Summary
Brainly is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Data Analyst - Statistical Analysis to join our growing Data & Analytics team. As a Lead Data Analyst, you will be responsible for leading statistical analyses, designing experiments, and providing data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making across the company. This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to work from anywhere in the USA.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of statistical analyses, including A/B testing, regression analysis, and predictive modeling, to understand user behavior and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop data-driven strategies.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key metrics and communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Design and analyze experiments to evaluate the impact of new features and initiatives.
- Mentor and coach other data analysts, providing guidance on statistical methodologies and best practices.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data used for analysis.
- Communicate complex findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in data analysis and statistical modeling.
- Participate in virtual team meetings and collaborate effectively with remote colleagues using tools such as Slack, Zoom, and Google Workspace.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on statistical modeling and experimentation.
- Strong proficiency in statistical software packages such as R or Python (with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Experience with A/B testing methodologies and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Technical Requirements
To be successful in this remote role, you will need:
- A dedicated home office space free from distractions.
- A reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps download speed).
- A personal computer with a modern operating system (Windows 10 or macOS 10.15 or later).
- A webcam and microphone for virtual meetings.
- While we offer flexible working hours, occasional meetings may require availability during Eastern Time Zone (ET) business hours.
Desired Skills
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker.
- Experience working in the education technology industry.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
- Experience with machine learning techniques.

Compensation & Benefits
The annual salary range for this remote position is $120,000 - $150,000, commensurate with experience. Brainly offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
