Position Summary
LeanLaw is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Quantitative Analyst - Data Visualization to join our growing Data & Analytics team. This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to work from anywhere in the USA. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming complex data sets into insightful and actionable visualizations that drive business decisions. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining data dashboards, reports, and other visual representations of data for internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain interactive data dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data visualization needs and translate them into effective visual solutions.
- Design and implement data visualizations that are clear, concise, and visually appealing, effectively communicating key insights and trends.
- Perform data analysis and manipulation to prepare data for visualization, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Identify opportunities to improve data visualization processes and methodologies.
- Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to ensure data availability and quality for visualization purposes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in data visualization and analytics.
- Participate in virtual team meetings and contribute to a collaborative remote work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of experience in data visualization and analytics.
- Proven expertise in creating interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in data analysis and manipulation using SQL or other data manipulation languages.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be a resident of the United States and authorized to work in the US.
Technical Requirements
As a fully remote employee at LeanLaw, you will need to meet the following technical requirements:
- Home Office Setup: A dedicated, quiet workspace free from distractions.
- Internet Speed: Reliable high-speed internet connection with a minimum upload and download speed of 25 Mbps.
- Equipment: LeanLaw will provide a company laptop and monitor.
- Communication Tools: Proficiency with remote collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoom, and Google Workspace.
- Time Zone: Must be able to work during core business hours (9 AM - 5 PM Pacific Time), with flexibility based on project needs.
Desired Skills
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or R.
- Knowledge of the legal industry and legal practice management software.

Compensation & Benefits
