Position Summary

Clio is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Legal Paralegal specializing in Contract Management to join our growing legal team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within the United States. As a Contract Management Paralegal, you will play a vital role in supporting Clio's legal operations, ensuring efficient contract lifecycle management, and mitigating legal risks. You will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a wide range of commercial contracts, while maintaining a strong understanding of legal requirements and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, SaaS agreements, NDAs, and partnership agreements.
  • Manage the contract lifecycle from initiation to execution, ensuring timely renewals and amendments.
  • Maintain and update the contract management system, ensuring accurate and organized record-keeping.
  • Conduct legal research and provide support on various legal matters, as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, finance, and operations, to ensure contracts align with business objectives.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of contract management policies and procedures.
  • Monitor contract compliance and identify potential risks and issues.
  • Support the Legal team with other administrative tasks, as required.
  • Participate in virtual team meetings and training sessions to stay informed and aligned with company goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Paralegal, with a focus on contract management.
  • Paralegal certification or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of contract law and commercial agreements.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using contract management systems and other legal technology tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a remote environment, demonstrating self-discipline, time management, and proactive communication.

Technical Requirements

To be successful in this remote role, you will need the following:

  • Dedicated home office space free from distractions.
  • High-speed internet connection with a minimum upload speed of 10 Mbps and download speed of 50 Mbps.
  • Reliable computer with up-to-date operating system and security software.
  • Proficiency in using video conferencing tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet) and collaboration platforms (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams).
  • Ability to work effectively within Pacific Time Zone business hours.

Compensation & Benefits

The annual salary range for this remote Legal Paralegal - Contract Management position is $70,000 - $90,000, commensurate with experience. Clio offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
