Position Summary

ARKO is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network management, troubleshooting, and security, along with relevant IT certifications. This is a remote position with a competitive salary range of $55,000 to $95,000 annually, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and ensure seamless operations.
• Implement and enforce network security measures to protect data and systems from cyber threats.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess network requirements and recommend scalable solutions.
• Document network configurations, processes, and procedures for internal reference and compliance.
• Stay updated on emerging networking technologies and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• 0 to 13 years of experience in network engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in network management, troubleshooting, and network security.
• Relevant IT certifications such as CCNA or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve network issues.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with team members.

Required Education

Others: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Equivalent experience and certifications will be considered.

Desired Skills

• Experience with cloud networking solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for network automation.
• Familiarity with SD-WAN and virtualization technologies.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Compensation & Benefits
