Position Summary
The Paralegal will support Live Nation Entertainment’s real‑estate legal team in a fully remote capacity. This role focuses on facilitating real‑estate transactions, conducting title searches, preparing deeds, and reviewing contracts to ensure compliance with corporate policies and applicable law. The successful candidate will act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external real‑estate professionals, delivering accurate and timely legal support.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive title searches and analyze chain‑of‑title documents for acquisitions, dispositions, and lease agreements.
- Prepare, review, and finalize deeds, closing statements, and related closing documents.
- Assist attorneys in managing the closing process, including coordination of signatures, escrow, and post‑closing filings.
- Draft, edit, and review real‑estate contracts, amendments, and ancillary agreements.
- Maintain and update real‑estate transaction databases and document management systems.
- Communicate regularly with brokers, lenders, title companies, and other real‑estate professionals to resolve issues and ensure smooth transaction flow.
- Perform legal research related to property law, zoning, and regulatory compliance.
- Provide detailed reports and summaries of transaction status to senior legal counsel.
- Ensure all documentation adheres to Live Nation’s internal controls and external regulatory requirements.
- Support the team with ad‑hoc projects, including policy development and process improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 13 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant specializing in real‑estate transactions.
- Demonstrated expertise in title searches, deed preparation, and closing processes.
- Strong contract review skills with the ability to identify risk and recommend mitigations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interaction with real‑estate professionals and internal stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
- Proficiency with legal software (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis, Clio) and standard office technology (Microsoft Office Suite, cloud‑based collaboration tools).
- Solid understanding of real‑estate terminology, property law, and related regulatory frameworks.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining strong team collaboration.
Required Education
Associate’s degree or higher in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, Real‑Estate Law, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Desired Skills
- Certification as a Certified Paralegal (CP) or Advanced Certified Paralegal (ACP).
- Experience with real‑estate specific software such as Yardi, MRI, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of corporate real‑estate strategies within the entertainment or hospitality industries.
- Project management experience, including the use of tools like Asana or Trello.
- Ability to draft and negotiate complex lease and purchase agreements.
Compensation & Benefits
The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $55,000 to $83,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
