Position Summary

Mozilla is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Performance Content Writer - SEO to join our dynamic remote marketing team. As a Performance Content Writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimized content that drives organic traffic, improves search engine rankings, and supports Mozilla’s mission. This is a fully remote position, and the successful candidate can work from anywhere in the USA. You will work collaboratively with our SEO, product, and marketing teams to develop and execute content strategies that align with our overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with Mozilla's SEO goals and target audience.
• Write high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimized content for various formats, including blog posts, articles, website copy, landing pages, and social media updates.
• Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify content opportunities.
• Optimize existing content for search engines, improving rankings and driving organic traffic.
• Collaborate with the SEO team to implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
• Track and analyze content performance using analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and best practices.
• Participate in virtual team meetings and collaborate effectively with remote team members.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in content writing and SEO.
• Proven track record of creating high-quality, engaging content that drives organic traffic and improves search engine rankings.
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
• Experience with keyword research tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Keyword Planner).
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.

• Must have a dedicated home office space and reliable high-speed internet access.

Technical Requirements

To ensure a productive remote work experience, the following technical requirements apply:

Compensation & Benefits
