Position Summary

King & Spalding is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Principal Blockchain Developer - API Development to join our dynamic technology team. This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to work from anywhere within the United States. As a Principal Blockchain Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing secure and scalable APIs that interact with various blockchain networks. You will play a critical role in building and maintaining innovative blockchain-based solutions to enhance our firm's capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and secure APIs for interacting with blockchain platforms.
  • Lead the development of blockchain-based applications and solutions, ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with other developers, engineers, and stakeholders to define project requirements and specifications.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of code to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in blockchain technology and API development.

Required Qualifications

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Go, or Java.
  • Experience with API design and development using RESTful principles.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
  • Must be able to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.

Compensation & Benefits
