Key Responsibilities For Project Manager:
The Project Manager at General Electric (GE) will be responsible for leading project teams to deliver project(s) that span across one or more business units. This role includes the management of issues, risks, and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. The Project Manager will contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery and will be responsible for the following:
- Managing a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business
- Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously
- Reporting on project success criteria results, metrics, test, and deployment management activities
- Providing status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks, and issues, communicating across leadership
- Managing project scope and changes
- Participating and/or driving feasibility studies, vendor selections, and proposals for evaluation by appropriate key stakeholders

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
- A minimum of 5 years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects
- A minimum of 1 year of experience with project management software tools
- Demonstrated leadership managing people
- Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Desired Skills:
- PMP / PRINCE II certification is a strong advantage
- Experience working in a large, global organization or in a project involving multiple stakeholders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Compensation & Benefits:
General Electric (GE) offers a competitive salary and benefits package to its employees. For the Project Manager position, the salary range is $85,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
