Key Responsibilities For Property Accountant:
- Manage all aspects of property accounting for assigned real estate portfolios
- Prepare monthly financial statements, variance analysis, and budgeting reports
- Coordinate with property management teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of property accounts and general ledger entries
- Assist in annual audit processes and tax preparation for real estate entities
- Monitor cash flow, analyze financial data, and provide recommendations for cost-saving opportunities
- Stay updated on industry regulations and accounting standards related to real estate

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA certification preferred
- 3+ years of experience in property accounting or real estate finance
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Yardi, MRI, or RealPage
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards for real estate
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Property Accountant position at EY in Minneapolis, Minnesota is $65,000 - $85,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
