Position Summary:
As a Remote Diversity & Inclusion Manager at Skillshare, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing strategies to foster diversity and inclusion within our organization. You will work closely with teams across the company to drive initiatives that promote a culture of belonging and equity in a remote work setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement diversity and inclusion programs and initiatives that align with Skillshare's values and goals
- Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to integrate diversity and inclusion practices into all aspects of the organization
- Conduct diversity training sessions and workshops for employees to enhance awareness and understanding
- Analyze diversity data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of inclusion efforts and identify areas for improvement
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in diversity and inclusion management, preferably in a remote work environment
- Strong understanding of diversity best practices and current DEI trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a distributed team effectively
- Ability to work independently and drive initiatives forward in a virtual setting
Technical Requirements:
- Dedicated home office space conducive to remote work
- Reliable high-speed internet connection for seamless virtual collaboration
- Comfortable working in a flexible schedule, accommodating different time zones within the USA
Desired Skills:
- Experience with remote team collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoom, and Asana
- Familiarity with virtual team building activities to strengthen remote team connections
Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Remote Diversity & Inclusion Manager position at Skillshare is $70,000 - $90,000, commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer remote-specific benefits, including a home office stipend or equipment provision, flexible working hours to accommodate various time zones, a virtual onboarding process, and virtual team building activities. Occasional travel may be required for team meetups.
