Position Summary:
We are seeking a talented Remote Illustrator to join our dynamic team. As a Remote Illustrator at Basecamp, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning illustrations that bring our projects to life and resonate with our audience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality illustrations for various projects, including digital and print materials
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure visual consistency and alignment with project goals
- Interpret project briefs and concepts to create engaging and impactful visuals
- Revise and refine illustrations based on feedback from stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with design trends and techniques to enhance the quality of our illustrations

Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Illustrator or similar role in a remote setting
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of illustration styles and techniques
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design software
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote team environment
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines consistently

Technical Requirements:
- Dedicated home office setup with a reliable internet connection
- Minimum internet speed of 25 Mbps for seamless collaboration
- Ability to work in Pacific Time Zone (PT) for team meetings and collaboration

Desired Skills:
- Experience with remote collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoom, and Google Workspace
- Knowledge of UX/UI design principles to enhance illustration integration
- Ability to adapt illustrations for different platforms and devices
- Strong storytelling and narrative skills to convey complex ideas through visuals

Compensation & Benefits:
Basecamp offers a competitive annual salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 for the Remote Illustrator position, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a home office stipend or equipment, flexible working hours to accommodate various time zones, virtual onboarding, and access to remote team collaboration tools. Employees also enjoy virtual team building activities and occasional travel requirements for team meetups.
