Position Summary:
Coursera is seeking a talented Remote Motion Graphics Designer to join our Remote Design & Creative team. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for creating engaging motion graphics and visual effects for our online learning content, enhancing the overall learning experience for our global audience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and produce high-quality motion graphics and animations for educational videos
- Collaborate with content creators and instructional designers to visually enhance course materials
- Ensure consistency in visual style and brand guidelines across all projects
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines effectively

Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Motion Graphics Designer or similar role
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects and Premiere Pro
- Strong portfolio showcasing motion graphics and animation work
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for remote team interactions
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a remote setting

Technical Requirements:
- Home office setup with a reliable computer and high-speed internet connection
- Comfortable working in a remote environment with flexible working hours
- Availability to collaborate within Pacific Time Zone (PT) for team meetings

Desired Skills:
- Experience with 3D animation and modeling software
- Knowledge of video editing techniques and best practices
- Familiarity with remote collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoom, and Google Workspace
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a remote work setup

Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive annual salary range for Remote Motion Graphics Designer positions at Coursera is $60,000 - $80,000, commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer remote-specific benefits, including a home office stipend or equipment provision, flexible working hours, virtual onboarding, and virtual team building activities. Occasional travel may be required for team meetups.
