Position Summary:
We are seeking a talented Remote Product Owner to join our distributed team at MyFitnessPal. As a key member of the product development team, you will be responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and execution of product features that enhance the user experience and align with business objectives. This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and prioritize features for development
- Lead the product roadmap planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify user needs and competitive landscape
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on product enhancements
- Communicate product updates and progress to internal teams and stakeholders effectively

Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a remote work environment
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and product development processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and drive results in a virtual setting
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field

Technical Requirements:
- Dedicated home office space with high-speed internet connection
- Proficiency in remote collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoom, and Jira
- Comfortable working across different time zones and accommodating flexible working hours as needed

Desired Skills:
- Experience working in a remote-first company or distributed team
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles and design thinking
- Certifications in Product Management or Agile frameworks

Compensation & Benefits:
We offer a competitive annual salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 for this remote position, commensurate with experience. In addition, MyFitnessPal provides remote-specific benefits, including a home office stipend or equipment allowance, flexible working hours to accommodate various time zones, virtual onboarding processes, and virtual team building activities to foster a strong sense of community within our remote team.
