Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a Remote Scrum Master to join our distributed team at Okta. As a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in facilitating Agile practices and processes within our remote project management teams. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the successful delivery of projects through effective sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and guide Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and product owners
- Remove impediments to the team's progress and foster a self-organizing, high-performing team dynamic
- Implement and uphold Agile best practices and principles to drive project success and delivery efficiency
- Track and report project progress, metrics, and key performance indicators to stakeholders

Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a remote work setting
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to engage remote team members effectively
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and navigate ambiguity in a virtual work environment
- Certification in Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certifications

Technical Requirements:
- Dedicated home office setup conducive to remote work
- Reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps download speed)
- Availability to work within Pacific to Eastern Time Zones
- Proficiency in using remote collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Zoom

Desired Skills:
- Experience with remote team collaboration tools like Slack, Microsoft Teams, or Asana
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for seamless integration and deployment
- Previous experience working with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams

Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive annual salary range for Remote Scrum Masters at Okta: $90,000 - $120,000
