Position Summary
Reed Smith is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Data Visualization Specialist - Statistical Analysis to join our growing Data & Analytics team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the USA. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming complex statistical data into clear, concise, and visually appealing presentations that inform strategic decision-making. You will collaborate closely with attorneys and other professionals to understand their data needs and create compelling visualizations using modern tools and techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret statistical data from various sources.
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Create reports and presentations that effectively communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with attorneys and other stakeholders to define data visualization requirements.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all visualizations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest data visualization trends and technologies.
- Participate in virtual team meetings and contribute to a collaborative remote work environment.
- Contribute to the development of data governance policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in data visualization and statistical analysis.
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Experience with statistical software packages (e.g., R, Python, SPSS).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights effectively to diverse audiences.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Technical Requirements
As a fully remote employee, you will need to meet the following technical requirements:
- Reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps download speed).
- Dedicated home office space free from distractions.
- Company-provided laptop and monitor.
- Proficiency in using virtual collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or similar platforms.
- Ability to work primarily within US Eastern Time business hours, with flexibility to accommodate occasional meetings in other time zones.

Compensation & Benefits
The annual salary range for this Research Data Visualization Specialist - Statistical Analysis position is $90,000 - $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Reed Smith offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
