Key Responsibilities for Senior Accountant:
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff
- Stay current on accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance
- Support special projects as needed

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or auditing roles
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Senior Accountant position at BlackLine in Kansas City, Missouri is $75,000 - $90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
