Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Business Development Manager – Customer Success to join our team remotely. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for expanding Bloomberg's presence within our existing customer base by identifying and nurturing opportunities for growth and increased product adoption. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs and demonstrating how Bloomberg's solutions can help them achieve their strategic objectives. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the USA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction within assigned accounts.
  • Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities within existing client organizations.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to understand their evolving needs and demonstrate the value of Bloomberg's solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, product, and engineering, to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to key decision-makers.
  • Negotiate and close complex deals, ensuring favorable terms for Bloomberg.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities in our CRM system.
  • Attend virtual industry events and conferences to network with potential clients and stay abreast of market trends.
  • Contribute to the development of best practices for remote business development and customer success.
  • Participate in virtual team building activities and contribute to a positive and collaborative remote work environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully expanding business within existing accounts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and Bloomberg's products and services.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales tools.
  • Must reside within the United States.

Technical Requirements

As a remote employee at Bloomberg, you will be expected to maintain a professional and productive home office environment. This includes:

  • A dedicated workspace free from distractions.
  • A reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps download/10 Mbps upload).
  • A computer meeting Bloomberg's minimum hardware and software specifications (details will be provided upon offer).
  • A webcam and headset for virtual meetings.

Bloomberg provides a home office stipend to assist with setting up your workspace.

While we offer flexible working hours, some meetings and collaboration may require availability during Eastern Time Zone business hours.

Compensation & Benefits

The annual salary range for this remote Senior Business Development Manager - Customer Success position is $140,000 - $190,000, commensurate with experience and location.
