Position Summary
The Software Tester role at Amphenol is a remote, full‑time position focused on ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of our software products. The successful candidate will design, develop, and execute performance test plans, analyze results, and work closely with development and product teams to identify and resolve bottlenecks. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive performance test strategies aligned with product requirements.
- Create, configure, and execute load testing scripts using tools such as JMeter and other industry‑standard utilities.
- Perform performance profiling, collect metrics, and conduct root‑cause analysis of identified issues.
- Collaborate with software engineers, architects, and product managers to define performance acceptance criteria.
- Document test results, produce detailed reports, and present findings to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
- 1 to 9 years of hands‑on experience in software performance testing.
- Proficiency in performance testing methodologies, including load, stress, and endurance testing.
- Demonstrated expertise with load testing tools such as JMeter (script development, parameterization, and result analysis).
- Strong ability to profile applications, analyze performance data, and identify bottlenecks.
- Experience interpreting system metrics (CPU, memory, network, I/O) and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a detail‑oriented mindset.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical concepts to cross‑functional teams.
Required Education
Degree or equivalent experience classified as Others. Candidates with relevant certifications or extensive practical experience in performance testing are strongly considered.
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with additional performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, Gatling, Locust).
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Groovy, or Java for test automation.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of performance tests into automated builds.
- Experience with cloud‑based testing environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Background in web services, APIs, and micro‑service architectures.
- Professional certifications such as ISTQB Performance Testing or Certified Performance Test Engineer.
Compensation & Benefits
