Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Channel Sales Manager - Account Management to join our rapidly growing sales team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the USA. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing our relationships with key channel partners, driving revenue through strategic initiatives, and ensuring partner success with ConvertKit. You will act as a trusted advisor to our partners, providing them with the resources and support they need to effectively promote and sell ConvertKit to their customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic account management plans for assigned channel partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at partner organizations.
- Onboard new partners and provide ongoing training and support on ConvertKit's platform and sales processes.
- Identify opportunities to increase partner sales and revenue through joint marketing campaigns, product integrations, and other strategic initiatives.
- Track partner performance and provide regular reports to management on key metrics.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product, and customer support, to ensure partner success.
- Represent ConvertKit at industry events and conferences.
- Proactively identify and address partner needs and challenges.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the email marketing industry and competitive landscape.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in channel sales, account management, or related field.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building strong partner relationships.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of email marketing principles and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools.
- Must be able to work effectively in a remote environment, demonstrating self-discipline, time management skills, and proactive communication.
- Ability to attend occasional in-person team meetups (travel required, estimated 1-2 times per year).
Technical Requirements
To be successful in this remote role, you will need:
- A dedicated home office space free from distractions.
- A reliable, high-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps download/5 Mbps upload).
- A modern computer with a webcam and microphone.
- A headset for clear communication during virtual meetings.
- Familiarity with remote collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoom, and Google Workspace.
- Ability to work during core business hours (Pacific Time preferred) with flexibility as needed to collaborate with partners in different time zones.

Compensation & Benefits
