Position Summary
Coinbase is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Vice President of Sales – Account Management to lead and scale our Account Management organization. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through exceptional customer relationships, strategic account planning, and cross-functional collaboration. This is a fully REMOTE position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Account Management strategy aligned with Coinbase’s overall business objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of Account Managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and customer obsession.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key enterprise clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for revenue expansion within existing accounts, including upselling, cross-selling, and new product adoption.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless customer experiences and drive product innovation.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress against goals and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct regular business reviews with key clients to assess satisfaction, identify opportunities, and address any concerns.
- Forecast accurately and manage the Account Management budget effectively.
- Represent Coinbase at industry events and conferences.
- Participate in virtual team-building activities and contribute to a positive remote work environment.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Account Management, Sales, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth.
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Deep understanding of the cryptocurrency industry and the broader financial landscape.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Must be a U.S. resident and authorized to work in the United States.
Technical Requirements
As a fully remote employee, you will be responsible for maintaining a suitable home office environment that supports productivity and effective communication.

- High-speed internet connection with a minimum upload/download speed of 50 Mbps.
- Reliable computer and headset with microphone.
- Ability to participate in video conferences and virtual meetings.
- Must be able to work within standard US business hours. Some flexibility may be required to accommodate team meetings across different US time zones.

Compensation & Benefits
The annual salary range for this REMOTE position is $250,000 - $350,000, commensurate with experience and location. Coinbase offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
