Key Responsibilities for Tax Director:
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize BlackLine's tax position and minimize liabilities
- Oversee all aspects of tax compliance, including preparation and review of tax returns and documentation
- Provide guidance on tax implications of business decisions and initiatives
- Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Monitor changes in tax laws and assess impact on BlackLine's operations
- Manage relationships with tax authorities and assist in audits or inquiries
- Lead tax planning initiatives to support BlackLine's growth and financial objectives

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in corporate tax, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of US tax laws and regulations, including GAAP and tax accounting principles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing tax strategies that drive business results
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate complex tax concepts effectively to non-tax professionals
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities

Desired Skills:
- Experience in the technology or SaaS industry
- Familiarity with international tax laws and transfer pricing
- Proficiency in tax software and ERP systems
- CMI or other tax certifications

Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Tax Director position at BlackLine in Little Rock, Arkansas is $140,000 to $180,000, commensurate with experience.
