Position Summary

Ford Motor is seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to join our remote team. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design seamless and visually compelling digital experiences for our customers. You will leverage your expertise in interaction design, user psychology, and prototyping to create innovative solutions that align with Ford Motor's vision of smart, accessible mobility.

Key Responsibilities

• Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using industry-standard tools.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business goals.
• Create animations and micro-interactions to enhance user engagement.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Stay updated on emerging design trends, tools, and technologies.

Required Qualifications

• 0 to 10 years of experience in UX/UI design or a related field.
• Strong understanding of interaction design principles and user behavior and psychology.
• Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
• Experience designing animations and micro-interactions to improve usability.
• Ability to thrive in collaborative design processes with cross-functional teams.
• Portfolio showcasing a range of UX/UI design projects.

Required Education

A Post graduate Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is required.

Desired Skills

• Experience working in the automotive or mobility industry.
• Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
• Experience with motion design tools like After Effects or Principle.

Compensation & Benefits

Ford Motor offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $91,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, employees enjoy comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, professional development opportunities, and flexible work arrangements.
