How You Will Make a Difference (Scope of Work)

UNICEF Namibia Country Office (NCO) is dedicated to universal, rights-based education, health, and protection. This internship directly supports the Learning, Protection and Participation Programme by ensuring that research and data are effectively managed and disseminated.

Under the guidance of the Deputy Representative and PME Manager, your main tasks will include:

1. Knowledge Management & Dissemination Support

• Production of Knowledge Products: Generating summaries, content, and audio-visual formats for internal and external platforms.
• Event Facilitation: Organizing and delivering virtual events and knowledge exchanges to disseminate research findings.
• Database Management: Supporting the maintenance of internal databases of partners and resources.

2. Research, Data Collection and Analysis

• Data Handling: Collecting, compiling, transcribing, and analyzing data from various sources.
• Reporting: Supporting the drafting of research reports, publications, and policy briefs.
• Visualization: Assisting with the visualization and review of secondary data when required.

Eligibility and Minimum Requirements

This internship is designed to enhance the educational experience of students and recent graduates in relevant fields:

Experience (Asset)	Experience in drafting research briefs or articles (written samples required).
Affiliations	Must have no immediate relatives (father, mother, brother, sister) working in any UNICEF Office.
